   These are not cardboard, but I do see how they look that way. These held up well in the rain and much to my surprise they also held up in the wind!I saw one of the neighbors out walking their dog at dusk and the dog wanted to go after the cut outs and was barking at them. A week later I was talking to a different neighbor out walking her dog and she told me her dog did the same thing.I purchased some metal ones from Oriental Trading Company, but they were too large to look like a real cat. These were the perfect size.I went to put these away for the season. I wiped them down and then I realized that there was rain water inside. I left them out overnight to dry before putting them in plastic bags until next Halloween.

   These made for a cute Halloween decoration in the yard but they did not hold up to the elements very well. They are faded and I probably wont get another year out of them. But they were super cute at first

   Bought these for a Halloween party my cat-lover daughter-in-law was having and she absolutely loved them! So much so she’s keeping them up year round! We’ve decided to paint one side in traditional cat colors/patterns and flip over to the black side for Halloween! Only drawback was no stakes were included, but we made it work!
