   My son wanted to be an astronaut for Halloween, and this was the perfect costume for him. He absolutely loves it! He still wears it to play. I would say to size up just to make sure it fits, also it’s not very warm the fabric is thin like every Halloween costume but I don’t mind. The helmet was kind of tricky to put together other than that It just was a great buy for me.

   My eight year old son loves astronauts, and anything to do with space. For reference he is 4’3 and 70lb. We ordered the 8/10 but we probably should have ordered the 10/12 because it’s almost a perfect fit but almost a little short, and with it being a full one piece suit it can be a little bit difficult for him to get on and off.We got this for him as a surprise package, and he fell in love with it instantly. He took it out of the box and put it on, and wears it every day (except to eat in, or outside, or sleep in) and it has held up wonderfully so far over the last four days. The material is almost like a slick wind suit material, but a little more stiff. The detail on this costume really impresses my son, and us as well! The patches on this costume are very realistic and well made (although you may have to clip some strings that are hanging off). The helmet must be comfortable enough, because he actually wears it several times a day, and it doesn’t seem to bother his glasses while he is wearing it. He wore this costume all day today, while sitting on the couch and standing in front of the Television watching the SpaceX NASA launch preparations. Will definitely be ordering this again for our little adventurer! Definitely a good buy in my opinion!

   This Kids Astronaut Halloween Costume is perfect for the Halloween costume of my son. He really wants to be an astronaut. Good thing they have this in this store. Quality is also durable. The used materials are great!!

   To the moon!

   The first impression my son and I both had was that this costume looked very official! The patches are a nice touch which gives the costume more realism. It looks like it has pockets but they aren’t real. The sheerness was not a concern as my son was wearing clothes underneath and even without I think it would have faired well. The material would probably not be comfortable for long wear over bare skin. It’s not itchy rather just not soft like clothing. I heeded the advise from others and ordered a size up. I’m glad I did as it fit him comfortably.The HELMET! What can I say? Yep, it was a bit of a pain to clip together but worth it once it was done. It’s large enough for an adult and not too big for a kid. It offers good visibility and easy breath while wearing. Overall… forget Halloween! This is perfect for uyear-round play. If you are searching for a quality astronaut costume search no further.

   Amazing costume for only SMALL children!

   It is the cutest costume ever and my oldest son loved it on his little brother so much that he wanted to also be it for Halloween. I went up a size for my 4 yr old (he just turned 4 a week ago) and it was a perfect fit. The helmet slides around a lot but means that it can fit everyone and also I’m sure it could be customized easily inside to help with that. My 11 yr old however got the XL that came in today that is labeled as up to 14 yrs and could barley get it above his shoulders or move. It was so tight and would fit someone closer to a 7-10 size. I will have to return his and get him an adult size in a different brand and buy the helmet separately. BUT, if you disregard sizing and only need to buy this costume for someone up to about a size 10 ONLY. (Get the XL in that case!), it’s an amazing adorable costume for small kids and worth the price.

   Great for dress up

   Because of some reviews, I thoroughly inspected the astronaut costume for any possible fraying or poor tailoring. I found this suit to be very well constructed with double stitching throughout. The fabric is a thin but durable windbreaker type material, which is good and breathable for active play. The helmet was not nearly as difficult to assemble as I thought; it took me 2 minutes, max. As others have noted, the visor is hard to move, but with some lubricant it’s not as bad. My 3 year old grandson is going to love this for CHRISTmas. Based on other reviews stating the suit runs small, I ordered the small(5-7) so that he has room to grow, and I’m sure he’ll continue using it for quite some time.

   Great deal for a costume

   My son wanted to be an astronaut for Halloween this year and normally I make his costumes. However this year I decided to buy him one. He was dead set on getting one with a helmet (and with the pandemic going on this year why not add an extra layer of protection). I ran across this one in my search for a costume. I was a little hesitant as my son is really tall for a 6 year old. Thankfully they had a size up from his clothes size of 10. I am so glad that I went with a size up. He has a little but of wiggle room, which is good for a rambunctious kid. Although the costume is thin, I am not concerned with that as we can layer. Overall I can say this was a great value for my money. Plus I have one happy kiddo, so it’s a win in my book!

   Worth the hassle of assembling the helmet

   I had to write a review because I seriously considered returning it after 5 min of not being able to assemble the helmet. (I literally thought, there’s no way.) It’s only two pieces that need to snap into place, but so tricky! Keep at it, it will snap into place… eventuality. Be patient! Make sure all prongs align, then snap the two “ear” sides in first. Then slowly squeeze the remaining prongs into place. It’s definitely worth the hassle, super cute costume. Size S for 5 1/2 year old, 45” tall 45 lbs. It’s a perfect fit. (Hope he doesn’t have a growth spurt in the next 3 weeks🤞🏽)

   Awesome costume! Got the 3T for my 4.5 yo.

   I tried both the 3T and the 5-7 for my 4.5 year old (he is roughly in the 40th %ile), and I ended up going with the 3T for Halloween. The costume survived a Halloween ninja class, a preschool Halloween party, and then Halloween night itself with no issues. My kid loved it. The helmet was perfect too for built in COVID protection. One note is the zipper ‘pockets’ aren’t pockets, so when he put things in them they just fell down to the bottom of the suit. But there are two actual pockets on each leg.

    Very affordable combo

    The media could not be loaded.  Oh man, what an awesome costume, my kid is excited! Great price for a suit and helmet combo!I easily modified the helmet and got the back pack since I saved money on this item
