This was great for a Harry Potter themed Halloween. With no face, it was the best prop I found for a dementor. It is overpriced for what it is, but was one of the last things we needed.

I did a Harry Potter theme for Halloween and these do work great for dementors. You just have to be willing to fluff them out, arrange the shoulders and arms right, and play with the posing. The poses do stay once you place them, which is great. It’s definitely a cheap product, and probably not worth the amount paid for, but I didn’t feel like making my own and for that reason it was worth it for me. I do wish the hands were bigger, they’re pretty small. I used a combination of fishing line and siding hooks to get these hung up.

I turned our house into Hogwarts and used these as the “dementors”. I strung them up from the trees and they look amazing with a light shinning up on them at night. Our neighbor was freaked out by it one morning.

I just had HVAC installed in the attic of my 1930s home, and thought this would be great to hang up there and scare the next homeowner….hehe.It did spook one of my handyman who had to climb up and do some work in the attic. I forget to tell him.I have to say this craftsmanship was very superior.Next year I will order one for Halloween.
