These pieces are of excellent quality and compatible with Imaginarium tracks. We bought a used train set and table, that was missing some pieces, and used this to complete it – it was perfect for what we needed and then a lot of extra. Would buy again, it’s a great product for the price.***TIP*** If you’re not happy with the way pieces of ANY wooden track system fit together, use pony-tail rubber-bands, the really tiny ones, to tightly wrap around the male pieces. This will make them snug with the female pieces and keep them together so the kids don’t get frustrated with everything falling part. Make sure they are super tight or they will drag on the bottom of the trains. I can’t stress how much this improved the kids experience with the train set.

62 pcs tracks for the price is awesome. We were allowed to make a bigger loop than before.The tracks can be put together in many ways and they connect extremely well together. All the other trains work perfectly with these tracks.You can tell these tracks are made of a high-quality material. They’re smooth and has the solid feel wood in hand.Nothing’s better than watching my little boy try on his way to put the tracks together in a piece and push his train along his own creation. He was also excited to watch his battery-operated Thomas running around and around. Honestly, I am so pound of him that he was able to do it by himself.

Very Special and High Value Train Track SetMy 3 yr boy loves this set sooooo much. It has the quality as good as other Thomas Wooden Railway tracks ： 1. Precisely cut. Compatible very well with our existing Thomas trains and tracks. 2. Every track is a whole piece. No pegs. Safe for young children. 3. Excellent craftsmanship. Easy to put together. Sanded smooth. 4. Double sided. Very convenient to be applied. 5. Feels heavy and sturdy.What’s special: 1. The S shape bridge tracks add so much so much to the whole set. It hugely expanded the fun to upper levels. 2. There are two kinds of split curved tracks having opposite matches. They allow the trains to switch or merge. 3. There are cross section tracks allowing more complexity of the railways.

Let me start by saying my son has had the 42 pc. Wild Ridge Train set with the mountain lid for over a year and a half now. He will be 6 next January and despite all of his electronics, he still has an unbridled fascination with his trains. My main reasoning for getting this expansion was twofold: to further help him develop his critical thinking, creativity & imagination by giving him more options & directions in which to build and to also consolidate his toy collection by getting rid of some of the other increasingly lesser used train carcasses strewn throughout my house.Price-to-value is an important ratio to me for any purchase. For an additional $26 on my initial $30 investment, I more than doubled his overall pc. count. The two sets are completely compatible and less likely to break or need replacing as much as his other non-wooden toys. Of course, he’ll eventually grow up; his interest will wane and gravitate towards other more complex & expensive things. Until then, he will always have me to nurture his otherwise uninfluenced love for all things locomotive.

This track works well with the track of a different brand that we already own. It is nice to have the varying style of bridges, compared to the other track we previously purchased. It is sturdy, stable, perfect in size to match other brands, and a great way to start a track set or make one much larger. Our child has been using these track pieces since he was 3 1/2, is now 4 1/2 and still has a wonderful time creating new track paths for his trains to take. I doubt he will outgrow this toy set for at least another 2 to 3 years or more.

My son is 5 and a train and track LOVER! We already had a wooden train track and this added more pieces to it perfectly. I was actually surprised at how many pieces were in this box. Great for the money! He can now make his train tracks extra long.

Would give a full five stars, but the supports that hold up the bridges/hill pieces aren’t very stable and topple over easier than support versions/options we have from other sets. Still is a great set, only wish these specific pieces were more user friendly.
