The product looks as it appears. The “Gold Foil Edges” appear to be more copper in color and less gold. This a standard paper plate that is not similiar to a ‘Dixie’ or ‘Glad’ in strenght. I will support the dinner plate with a sturdy Paper Plate Holder found on Amazon.
