This lil guy was a fun birthday gift/project to bond with my son. Yes it requires organization, and no it is not easy. He is 6 and I did a lot of the work but he helped. We both learned about making hydraulics and gears. It was an awesome science project! I am happy to take it apart and make the next one!

I got this as a gift for a 7 year old boy and he loved it. The instructions are on the more difficult side but nothing you can’t figure out with the help of mom and dad. Great quality product, it’s nice that there was even a tool included to help take apart the pieces!

This STEM kit is good overall but would require some help from parents. There are some pieces that will require some force to push it in. Also the gears part will need to lubricate with the provided grease oil. Recommend to any kids that like engineering.

Well I’m a little disappointed. I purchased this kit because my grandson loves to put things together and see how they work. I first bought one that said it was for his age group and it ended up being for 8 and older. When looking at the instructions it looked very complicated. So I went back and purchased this one that said it was for 3 and up. Thinking it would be a great place to start for his first robot. He 5 but i was thinking if this one was easy then it would help him transition to the other one i purchased. Well opened the package and this one is also for ages 8 and up. We are going to give it a try anyhow but I just wish that the ages listed were correct. I would be very disappointed if I had shipped this to him and he had no one to sit and do it with him. I will update my post as to how it goes soon.

My son, 5, wanted this so bad he worked for chore money. His father and him have put some robots together and it is a perfect gift for the racing mind of a child. They had an easy time assembling it. It said it was suppose to come with dividers for the box to keep parts separate, but we did not get that. The solar panel needs to be in DIRECT sunlight, or it doesn’t move. wish there was an option to attach a battery pack when you don’t have sunny days because he would be playing with it indoors ALL the time.
