This is probably one of the best advent calendar we have purchased and I have 4 boys and have been doing this every year since the first one was born 12 years ago. Every slime item is nicely packaged and lid just pops back on so that they can play with it at a later time. The trinkets inside are nicely made and painted as well. My 4 year old loved it and cousin wanted one of her own, and she got a real expensive one. If you want to go candy free for your kids for advent, your kids will love this. I love it and play with it with them all the time as well. And the price! You can’t go wrong!

The slime is really good quality and the resin pieces are ADORABLE. They’re small about the size of a dime but nice detail. Be aware only some of the resin pieces are Christmas themed, but that’s ok. My only complaint is the packaging. It was flipped upside down so I had to repackage the entire thing before my kid could get anything out. It also is hard to pull out the daily cardboard “doors” so she needs help with the entire process. But for $16 you can’t beat this.

The calendar is a cute idea and the clear putty is very good quality. Only problem is the same kind of slime. It said oil/crystal/ clear but it was the very same… Just different color. My kid got bored after a while. Would it be ideal to have different notextures 🙂

So my kids love slime. I bought 2 of these, one for each of them. In both boxes the slime was boxed backwards in a plastic tray. It was not possible to get the slime out through the daily holes. I had to open the box and turn the packages around for them to be turned the correct way. Not that big of a deal but a hassle when kids are excited and you have to basically repackage the box before they can get anything out. But the slime is not gross. It’s more like putty and not messy so that is great.
