Yes, the paws come off. They are gloves and they stay on with elastic. They are quite large. If someone has long arms the sleeves of the inflatable arms may be too short and the sleeves may not reach to the wrists. The feet are part of the inflatable and also have elastic at the ankles. You can sit on a big chair but not comfortably. It would also be challenging to get up. The costume is inflated all around and the expanded width is large. Can turn off the fan to deflate costume when want to sit down without taking it off. Elvis answered on July 5, 2023

Opening for face will not stay in place so I don't get a tight seal and ideas? Edwiin asked on May 23, 2023

The head cap does slip and it feels like your face is getting sucked into the costume. You can put the elastic behind ears to hold back from slipping which helps some people. Also tightened the velcro strap for a better seal. What I found that works the best, for me, is to poke face completely out, put on a baseball cap, tighten the velcro part, and pull the elastic part behind ears and on top of head/cap. The baseball cap helps keep the elastic from slipping in front of face and it is still comfortable. It's a great costume, so worth the small inconvenience. I own the dog costume and friend owns the cat and the same thing happens with the face opening (probably on all costumes with similar face opening). She solved by wearing a gray cap that matches the cat colors and face stays comfortably poked out of costume. Slynn answered on May 25, 2023
