This product is definitely smaller then the “name brand” marble runs but it still works. I included some pictures so that you can get an idea of the actual size.One piece did arrive deformed. It looked like the plastic didn’t get filled in the mold completely. It was only one piece and we are still happy without it.The pieces are fairly thin but still hard plastic. They don’t bend but I can see them breaking if an adult stepped on one.Altogether, you can’t beat the price for so many pieces!

Went together as expected. Only one piece was manufactured poorly and was thrown away, but it was just a shaft piece, not a run.Funny story, we have a set we purchased 12 years ago for the oldest kiddo and thought it would be fun to purchase an expansion for the youngest. Well, it seems the product has shrunk over the years. Note to buyers that this is a “miniature” set in comparison to what what we found before. See the third photo. The marbles are the size of the tip of my pinky.
