My son loves this helmet! For the price I think it was a good buy. Was a little difficult snapping together and the visor does not come up and down, but it looks good.

My son loves this helmet. He wears it a lot. You cannot move the visor up and down without taking it apart and it wobbles on the head because there is no way to hold it in place or nothing to attach it to on a suit but regardless it’s super cute for Halloween, history day at school or plays. We had so many compliments on his costume and it looks like a legit astronaut!

26, 5ft 4 fits me perfectly but now my husband I have a small head and he has a big head. Assembly was a bit difficult for me but not my husband. Definitely need somebody strong to assemble it. Once Clicked place properly. It does move up and down but it’s tight and moves in sections instead of gliding. A child definitely would have difficulty moving it up and down.

My kiddos astronaut helmet!Did fit a little to lose but my kiddos didn’t seem to mind. You do have to put the helmet together but it was pretty easy.

My 8 year old son likes the helmet. It was pretty easy to assemble. It’s a bit big, so I hot glued foam inside to keep it stable when my son moves his head. Looked really good, and he got lots of compliments on his costume. Seems durable enough. Yes, there’s a seam where the two halves of the helmet meet, but not bad looking overall. A satisfactory purchase.

This helmet comes into separate parts which you have to put them together, the instructions come included. It was hard to put some pieces together though it took two people to finally snap pieces into place. Once set up, it takes some strength to move the visor up and down, meaning it could be difficult for a child to open it or close it. I bought for myself though I’m a 32 yo female with a relatively big head. It fits me no problem. It’s not a perfect fit my chin touches the lower part of the helmet but if you keep it open it works. Sturdy product I don’t not regret buying it.

The helmet is great, once you manage to get it assembled. Other reviews mentioned difficulty with the “clips” which I assumed were the two pieces used to secure the visor to the helmet. Those were not a challenge…the tricky part is that the helmet is packaged in two pieces (visor is 3rd piece). The two halves are very difficult to merge together, as the prongs barely fit into the slots. On top of the challenge of securing the halves is that it is very difficult to get “leverage” and apply pressure to snap the halves into place. My remedy was to use a cargo ratchet strap for the lower portion, then simply muscling in the top prongs.Once it is assembled, it is a great product and my kids love it. It’s definitely sturdy, and I don’t think it’s possible for the halves of the helmet to separate, once latched together.To answer some questions I saw about the product…-the NASA and flag are decals-the visor isn’t labeled “up/top or “down/bottom”, but the included instructions and the pictures on the box clearly show the side with the notch is the lower side (closing on top of the mouth vent)

I have been looking for an astronaut helmet for a while and wasn’t happy with what I was finding, then I found this. I was apprehensive at first because it seemed expensive (which it is – $26 for a helmet is a lot), but I am so pleased with the quality. It is sturdy plastic, not the thin stuff. The assembly is not difficult if you are careful to line everything up. And for the people saying the visor keeps popping off – you may not have pushed the grey pieces in all the way. Because I have kids playing with this all day every day with no issues. The visor is hard to open and close, but I imagine it will loosen up over time. I bought this for toddlers to use. It is big (it would fit an adult) but they love it and are able to play with it just fine.

The media could not be loaded. If you want to question everything you’ve ever thought parenthood would be, then definitely buy this helmet. It will help you accomplish that in no time flat. I painted this gold and tinted the visor as my son wants to be Daft Punk for Halloween. So, as I’m in the process of doing this I finally begin putting the pieces together, and holy mother of baby jebus, this things blows to put together. I’m 45 mins and 2 glasses of wine in, so as soon as I’m done or it breaks, I’ll post a picture and video of the final product . It is such a biatch to put together I stopped in the middle to take a break and post this review. For those of you that have already bought it – good luck and God speed. I hope to see you on the other side
