These worked great for my garland because I have two fireplaces with no outlets nearby. The remote works but you have to point it toward the battery box which tucks away easily on my mantles’ surface. I added berries and pine cones along with the lights to plain faux pine garland. I’m very happy with the result.

Used this on a small tree we have in the yard for Christmas. They worked very well in all kinds of weather. Liked the timer on it so they would turn on and off without attention once they were set up. Did not have to replace the batteries during the season. Only drawback is that they bright, but not extremely. A nice subtle touch.

I’m glad I found these! I don’t have an outlet outside and we don’t get much sun in the winter so these were great for holiday decorations. I like all of the different modes. The timer never worked and the remote sometimes was glitchy but the lights themselves were perfect.

These are nice – but I initially ordered 2 sets (4 strings). One set, both strings worked perfectly; but one string in the second set would not turn on. I was able to return the set (had to return the entire set) and was immediately shipped a replacement. In the replacement set, both strings turned on, but the remote/timer function did not work with one of them. I did not return them (again) as it was too much trouble and (again) I would have to return the working string with the one that didn’t. Just a little disappointed with the quality, not the service.
