extremely great value. they dont come prefilled but thats ok with me. the legos fit in the heart perfectly but i still added a lil bit of tape to make sure the heart didnt open on its own. I did valentines gift bags for my daughters class and stuck the heart inside the bags along with the instruction manual for the lego. the manual of course doesnt fit in the heart but thats also ok w me.

So they are definitely NOT pre-filled. But they also aren’t hard to put together yourself if you’re into a craft project. I still think they are super cute and a great candy-alternative! Only minor flaw was the misspelling on the yellow cards, luckily I had more than enough for my son’s class, so the girls in my office should get a good laugh from them. Again, these ARE NOT PRE-FILLED! But it only took me about 30/45 min to put them together. You match the instructions with the stickers. I tri-folded my instructions for to save some space. Place the stickers, instructions and lego pieces into the lipped sided heart piece. I placed the lego pieces bag sort of flat with the empty side squished up into the bottom heart section. Then placed the lid sided heart on top, pushing in any plastic bag pieces sticking out. Once fully closed the hearts surprisingly stay together pretty well. I’m going to send my son to school with his in a Starbucks brown bag with maybe a grocery plastic bag as a buffer so they don’t smash together and open up in transit. I don’t see them being super fragile, you could probably use a little tape if you really wanted to. Hopefully they will be a hit with his classmates!Update: Train instructions are easy to follow, my son’s kindergarten class should be able to put these together with a little help from parents!

These were a huge hit! My daughter passed them out to her third grade friends and i added them to my treasure box for 5th and 6th grade.The hearts do separate easily so I did have to put back together a few but because all the pieces were in individual baggies it was not a problem at all.
